While I was walking to work  this morning in the sunshine, overlooking the city and the sea in the distance, I realized how lucky and blessed I am..Which I should realize a bit more often. 
I'm alive, i'm healthy, I have a roof over my head, a job that pays for my food, I have family and friends and live in a safe country. So many people in this world cannot utter the same words, which is sad and unfair....

Thank you freakspawn for booking my flight! I can now look forward to a nice stay at home after my surf trip!!! Also just been told I got this Friday off so I can move and spend the whole weekend making my new room mine and corrupt Fabs' flat!

Well andine your suggestion worked! I have just received an email via email about this dispute where the buyer claimed she contacted me via email three times (OH REALLY?) and was waiting for response. Hope to get this sorted now! So erm..freakspawn; there is a possibility we might have to sit on the floor this weekend!! haha!

Darn tube strike! Got into work half an hour ago...the roads are blocked with traffic, trains are over crowded, took me forever to get here..BUT..I am.Made it! Safe and sound! Needless to say, spirits are good in the office today with tonight's game coming up *COME ON HOLLAND*..meeting (Brit) friends down da pub tonight who all want to see the Portugese kicked out of the tournament..

Had a quiet weekend, well apart from Saturday night that is when Holland made its way into the semi-final of Euro 2004! YEAH BABY! Justice AT LAST! My friends vowed to be honourary Dutch men (and ladies) from now on and will cheer my country on this wednesday when we're going to kick some Portugese ass!!

Looks like AAA events are causing more trouble again.. *shakes head*..I'm running out of words to use for that organization..

So England lost..Good Grief I need to get new health insurance! Watching such tension filled matches is not good for one's blood pressure! haha! I watched the game at home since I was still not sure whether I wanted England or Portugal to win, but let's face it, England did not deserve to go out like this! Totally robbed!

Friend of mine phoned me after the match, I felt really sorry for him, poor bloke was devastated. He had a good rant down the phone and I let him-being the good friend that I am! haha!

Holland's playing tomorrow and I wanna have a party, SO COME ON HOLLAND!!!!

HOLLAND IS THROUGH!!!! raptoe, bet the country is partying hard? I watched the game last night with people from work in a sports bar down the road and it was the most tension filled game I have ever seen! The whole pub was crowded with Dutch people (still wondering where they all came from, they must be hiding from me during day time!), Holland game was on the big screen and we were able to watch the Germany game on a small tv next to it..needless to say that not only did we cheer for Holland scoring but the roof was about to come off when the Tsjech Republik scored their second goal.

(for all you non footie fans, the Tsjech Republik needed to win their match against Germany in order for Holland to go through)

So far I've been watching the England games in pubs as well, last few times with friends but I think tonight I'm better off watching it at home, is it wrong of me wanting England to lose? My Dutch pride is taking over at the moment!

Christopher Lee is doing a promotional signing tour for JINNAH-THE DVD in July throughout the country...and yes he will be visiting London too, however, it is a strict Jinnah event so no LOTR or any other items shall be signed...hmmmm..bit lame..
